PhD position in plant-microbial interactions

Do you have an MSc in Ecology, Evolution, or Environmental Sciences, and are you interested in the effects of climate change on plant-microbial interactions? Are you excited by experimental work, both in the field and in the glasshouse, and do you want to get to the bottom of how drought affects plant-microbial interactions? We are looking for a PhD student within the European-funded ERC project SHIFTFEEDBACK, led by Prof. Franciska de Vries. This project will interrogate the role of plant-specific changes in microbial communities in the response of plant communities and ecosystems to drought, using a combination of field and glasshouse-based pot experiments.
