Postdoctoral researcher and PhD student positions in Citrus Pathology, University of Florida

The University of Florida is seeking highly motivated a postdoctoral researcher and a graduate student to work on basic and applied aspects of citrus pathogens including citrus greening (Huanglongbing), a bacterial disease that is devastating the citrus industry in the United States and several other major citrus-producing countries. The successful candidates will be working at the University’s Southwest Florida Research and Education Center (http://swfrec.ifas.ufl.edu).

These two positions are available January 1, 2019 and both are full-time positions. Initial appointment for Post Doc is for one year and may be renewable up to four-year dependent upon satisfactory performance. Salary is commensurate with experience.
