The scope of the work includes leading the bacteriology and botany diagnostic work Programme for the identification of bacterial diseases associated with imported and exported plants, and found post border, for example during surveillance, incursion investigation and response. This position is also leading the diagnostics and advice on exotic and invasive plants that may affect the terrestrial and aquatic environment. You will also be expected to contribute to the laboratory's strategic objectives and projects.
