Two postdoctoral in plant and soil microbiome research: Hungary

The newly founded MTA-EKE Lendület Environmental Microbiome Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) and the Eszterházy Károly University (EKE) invites applications for multiple postdoctoral and Ph.D. positions to study the composition, function and interactions of soil and plant microbial communities in viticulture.
We study the spatial and temporal dynamics and interactions of soil and plant microbiomes, using an array of molecular techniques, such as metatranscriptomics and DNA metabarcoding among others. Within the framework of the funded research project, we are hiring candidates to pursue their interests in the following research lines:

-Interactions of plant pathobiome microorganisms in light of plant health

-Functional dynamics of microbial communities
