Desde la Sociedad de Fitopatología Mediterranea (MPU) nos llega el siguiente anuncio de seminario

Announcement for the upcoming Xylella Seminar entitled:

“Xylem sap growth and biofilm formation of Xylella fastidiosa and its connection with host adaptation and virulence” presented by Mamata KC, from the Auburn University, USA

This seminar is jointly organised by the EU funded BeXyl project, EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and Auburn University.

The seminar will take place on 10th Feb at 18:00 (CEST)  according  to our regular schedule.

Mamata K C recently completed her Master’s degree in Plant Pathology at Auburn University, where her research focused on host adaptation and virulence of Xylella fastidiosa. Her work examined how xylem sap influences bacterial growth and biofilm formation using in vitro assays, microfluidic systems, and greenhouse experiments in grapevine and blueberry. She has recently joined the University of Georgia as a PhD student in Plant Pathology and will continue working in the Xylella pathosystem.

This seminar will be recorded and shared through the Euphresco digital object portal.
