Postdoctoral researcher (m/f/d) at Rosa Lozano-Durán’s group. Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP) at the University of Tübingen is looking for a

to work in the ERC-funded project GemOmics. This project aims to understand the virus/host cell interface and the viral strategies to expand it, with special focus on the plant geminiviruses. The successful candidate will be hired for up to three years, and work as part of the GemOmics team, applying a combination of genomics, molecular biology, cell biology, and virology techniques.

The successful candidate will be integrated into a dynamic international team using a variety of molecular approaches to unravel the mechanisms underlying infection by the DNA geminiviruses in plants. Teamwork skills, functional communication in English, and experience in molecular biology are expected. Previous experience in plant molecular biology and/or virology is a plus but not essential; German is not required.
